Sr. Theresa (Rose Frances) Cunningham

Sister Theresa Cunningham was born in Wext Roxbury, MA, to parents Francis and Rose (Branley) Cunningham. She had eight siblings. She entered the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1945, taking the religious name Sr. Rose Frances. She earned a bachelor's degree in English and History from Emmanuel College and a master's in educational psychology from Salem State University.

Sr. Theresa taught mainly at elementary schools, including teaching art and computer classes. Her final formal assignment was with the Archdiocese of Boston.
