  1. I had Sr.Agnes Julie, as she was known then, as my 5th grade teacher at The Our Lady of the Assumption School in East Boston in 1958-59. At a recent class reunion everyone remembered her as the nicest nun we had in our 8 years. Many commented on how pretty she was and also on her beautiful voice – she loved to sing.

  2. My favorite sister……. The best Notre Dame has to offer…. The last time I saw her Was in The convent…. we were talking and she was wiping dishes….. A truly nce person.

  3. Sister Agnes Julie was my fifth grade teacher in Assumption also. William (Buddy)Frazier and I were classmates. I always remember Sister as kind and nurturing. She made a positive impact on her young students.

  4. I too had the pleasure of having Sister Agnes Julie as my 5th and 7th grade teacher at OLA. She is by far my favorite teacher of my school years. My best friend Frank Circeo and I went to visit her a couple of years after she transferred to another school. She is one of Gods many gifts to the world.

    1. George, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about Sister Agnes Julie!
